Dust is a problem

Dust and grime can block the much-needed air vents on your computer. Dust sticks to the vents impeding air-flow. It sticks to the devices inside the computer trapping heat. It gets in the bearings of fans slowing their progress.

All of this can lead to your computer heating up more than the manufacturer intended, and this usually means two things:

1. Your computer will probably have to work harder because of the temperature, so it will probably work slower.

2. Your computer's life-time will be greatly reduced when it's working at such high temperatures.

What do we do?

Our technician will open up your desktop computer or laptop and remove all dust and grime. They'll make sure that your fans are all working the way they're meant to, and that there is proper and sufficient air-flow going around your computer to keep it cool.

The technician will remove the devices in the computer and give each individual one a thorough clean - using special techniques and always in controlled anti-static conditions.
